Signs erected outside Horsham District Council’s new home
The authority is officially moving in with West Sussex County Council to what was previously known as County Hall North, in Chart Way, but will now be known as Parkside on June 1.
It is selling its current home Park North and North Point in North Street. Although the buyer has not been revealed it is expected to net the council £6m.

Hide AdHDC’s first Full Council meeting at Parkside is tonight (Wednesday May 20) and will start at 6pm.
Councillors will be electing a new chairman, vice-chairman, and leader, as well as debating a report which suggests removing the requirement for the chairman of the Scrutiny and Overview Committee to be from a minority party.
This follows a resounding Conservative victory in the local elections earlier this month, where the party won 39 out of 44 seats, leaving just four Lib Dems and one independent left at HDC.
