Three weeks left for Horsham council’s Christmas card competition
Philip Circus (Con, Chactonbury), wants young people to send in coloured drawings and paintings of a ‘winter scene in the Horsham District’ on A4 paper by Friday November 8, 2013.
A judging panel, made up of the chairman, vice chairman and previous chairman, will then judge the designs.

Hide AdThe winning image will be on the front of over 200 cards sent to neighbouring councils, businesses and associates of the chairman.
The winner will also receive a family ticket to this year’s much anticipated swashbuckling family pantomime, Peter Pan, at The Capitol theatre, Horsham, which runs from Thursday December 12, 2013 to Sunday January 5, 2014.
Designs can be either hand delivered or posted to Horsham District Council, Park North, North Street, Horsham, RH12 1RL and they should be addressed to The Chairman.
All entries will appear in a photo album on the council’s Facebook page while the top 10 winners will also be displayed at Horsham Museum and Art Gallery in Horsham town centre.

Hide AdPhilip Circus said: “I’m really excited about this new initiative asking the young people of the District to come up with a design for the Chairman’s annual Christmas card.
“I’m looking for something that really does show off our District at its best and am looking forward to seeing what you’ve come up with.”
The winner will be announced on Wednesday November 13, 2013 via a press release, which will also be posted on the council’s website and social media sites.

Hide AdPlease also note that the entrant’s name, age and contact details should be written on the back of the poster and designs cannot be returned.
