Tories narrowly top UKIP in European elections among Horsham voters
Despite Nigel Farage’s party coming first nationwide with 27.47 per cent of the vote and 24 MEPs, the Conservatives polled 13,298 votes compared to UKIPs 12,488 in the Horsham Local Counting Area.
Meanwhile the Lib Dems, who lost ten of their 11 MEPs across the country, were beaten to third by the Green Party and nearly slipped into fifth place behind Labour.

Hide AdTurnout in the area was higher than the national average at 37.29 per cent compared to 34.19 per cent.
Horsham is within the South East Region, which saw UKIP poll first, the Tories second, Labour third, the Greens fourth, and the Lib Dems fifth.
