Readers respond to Bognor Regis ice rink debate
Last weeks edition of the Observer featured the news that a public debate would be held to compare Bognor Regis Civic Society's ice rink proposal with Arun District Council's Linear Car Park proposal.
Commenting on a Facebook post, Ruth Alli called plans for an ice rink a 'good idea' if it could be self financing and not a 'burden on the taxpayer.'

The society is inviting all councillors to attend the meeting and hopes to get as many as possible to attend."
Sam Vaughan said: "I thought this was a no as it was said to be not cost productive after so many years. I would love for this to be in town thought as we love it at Christmas."
A petition, drawn up following last year's Christmas temporary ice rink, was signed by 2,479 people and was debated during a discussions at Littlehampton's Arun Civic Centre in September.

Dave Matthews said he would rather have pot holes in the town repaired.
Sheila Garrod said: "I can see people from Worthing willing to travel. They do with [trampoline park] Flip-out. Especially if the ice rink offers some type of toddler session. Parents seem to be willing to pay soft play rates which can be high at time."
Brenda Cherrett said: "Definitely a good idea and will bring lots of people into town."
