Rodmell and Southease
C7: Please, whilst on the subject of cars, could people slow down on the C7. A friend’s daughter had her car written off when she was pulling out of our junction to go to work on Friday February 12. Fortunately she was not hurt. As this is a blind junction, people need to slow down to the 30mph limit and that way people trying to get out have a chance of not getting hit. I live on this junction so do know what I’m talking about.
NEWSPAPERS: So the Independent newspaper is to be no longer printed but is giving way to technology. If they can’t make print on paper pay I suppose it has to be, but yet again the older generation and those who do not like technology are being penalised and isolated. I love reading the newspaper and the whole procedure of picking it up from the box, feeling it in my hands, hearing the rustle of paper and looking forward to reading it is one of life’s experiences. However, no matter where or how you read it these days still brings on depression at the depth of greed, depravity and war mongering that the human race sinks to. No wonder some of the happiest people are the people that don’t buy or read papers or watch TV. I wonder, do the young of today think they will never be the old of tomorrow?
