Royal seal of approval for primary school's celebratory bash
Sheila O’Rourke played the part of the monarch as the special guest at the celebration at Southway Primary School.
Mrs O’Rourke, 86, bought white gloves especially for the occasion and spent the morning at a hairdresser getting a suitably regal style upon which to place her tiara.

Justine Chubb, one of the school’s assistant heads, said: “We wanted to make the Jubilee real for the children, who didn’t know about the arrival of the Queen, by having someone the same age here.”
Every child in the school was given a commemorative mug by the Friends Of Southway School.
