“I first got into it because of Seth MacFarlane as I started watching Family Guy and loved it so I started drawing the characters,” she said.
“I draw a lot of comic books during school and I get ideas in school. I want to be an animator because I love it and it’s fun.”
Maddie said the comic she is working on at the minute is called Obnoxious Ollie and is based on a boy who always gets into trouble.

She also considers herself a bit of a comedian too – for example: Why did Adele cross the road? To say hello from the other side.
Maddie’s mother Rebecca Sutton is proud of her daughter for dreaming big and is really impressed by her drawings.
“I think they are brilliant – you don’t get many children who naturally draw, they’re usually watching a computer screen,” she said.

Although that was not possible, Rebecca said Maddie just wants people to see her drawings as she’s so proud of them.
“She just wanted to get out there and let people know what a good drawer she is and hopefully she can do it when she’s older,” Rebecca said.
Maddie’s grandmother Theresa Sutton said she idolises MacFarlane and her drawings are amazing.

“She wants to be a cartoonist and she just loves her drawing.
“I think it’s absolutely phenomenal and she’s got them all hanging on her wall.
“Most teenagers just like to sit and listen to pop music but she loves to draw.”
