SURVEY ON COUNCIL SERVICES
Questionnaires are being sent out over the next couple of weeks to a random sample of households in the district, as part of a nation-wide survey of council services required by the Government. A similar survey was carried out in 2003 and further surveys are to take place every three years.
People will be asked how satisfied they are with services ranging from street cleaning, kerbside recycling, household waste collection as well as cultural and recreational activities and facilities. The results, which are expected at the beginning of 2007 will help the Council target its resources where they will be most effective.

Hide AdTaking part in the survey costs nothing as a reply-paid envelope is included and all replies will be treated in the strictest confidence. To encourage people to return the survey, all completed survey forms will be entered into a prize draw to win one of 3 cash prizes of 50.
The survey is being conducted by an independent market research company, BMG.
BMG were chosen to run the survey on behalf of all the district and borough councils in East Sussex as part of a joint procurement exercise. By working together in this way the councils have cost and efficiency savings.
