Temporary school buildings praised
The £30million new school, in Broadwater Road, Worthing, is not due to open until next year, so students moved into temporary buildings located in the Queen Street car park when the new school year started this month.
Firm Portable Offices worked with the school and West Sussex County Council to install the classrooms, which have been given the seal of approval by head Adam Whitehead.

“We literally went from no buildings on June 22 to full facilities when we opened for students on September 7.
“The service Portable Offices provided was exceptional and went above and beyond the call of duty. Nothing was a problem or too much trouble. It was a real team effort and I can’t praise them too highly.”
The 16 buildings include everything from a school hall to science labs, with drainage and electrical facilities.
