Good weather brought out thousands of people who packed onto the quayside to view boats and enjoy displays, live music and a barbecue.
Lifeboats from Rye Harbour and Hastings attended, as did the Pett Level Rescue Boat.

“We had more boats than ever before, including boats from Holland, Belgium and France. Many of the visiting boat owners from abroad stayed for a few days and said how much they loved Rye. We also had eight boats coming from Newhaven and two from Dover.
“It was absolutely packed with people and the weather was perfect. This was the biggest festival yet and it was really good for the town.”
