Volkswagen is also marking an anniversary at the festival.
To commemorate 40 years since the iconic Golf GTI went on sale in the United Kingdom, the first model - the Mk1 from 1976 - will tackle the Goodwood hill.
Fans of the car will have the chance to see how it has developed over the years and the possible future of the Golf GTI is hinted at with the Golf GTE Sport concept car, which is powered by an advanced plug-in hybrid system.
