Tourism working group adopted by town council
A working group to explore ways of ensuring the long term viability of Selsey as a tourist destination has been adopted by the town council.
The motion was raised by cllr Donna Johnson at a meeting last Wednesday, where she stated that the council should be more involved in the manhood peninsula’s tourist economy.
She added: “We may not achieve anything but we have the obligation to try.
“There are a number groups and it looks unstructured, this way we can pool all our resources together.”
The group will include councillors Mike Beal, Chris Dean, Donna Johnson and Glenda Baum.
