UPDATE: Ford Prison absconder is found

Danny Brand was found by police in Dorset and was arrested.
A police statement said officers made the arrest today (June 3).

Hide AdIn an earlier statement, police said Brand, 33, failed to return to Ford Prison after a day release on Thursday, May 27.
It went on to say that Brand is serving four years in prison for burglary offences that occurred in Bournemouth, for which he was sentenced at Southampton Crown Court in August 2014.
PC Lewis Dines said Brand is local to the Bournemouth and Dorset areas and has connections in Surrey, and it was believed that he was last intending to see family in Bournemouth during his day release, but they had previously moved away from the address.
Police thanked the public for their help in tracing him.
