UPDATE: Woman bailed after man dies in Worthing hotel

Police were called to the Chatsworth Hotel, The Steyne, at around 4.15am today following a report that a man – understood to be from Worthing – had collapsed in a room.
At the time, a spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Paramedics were already present but efforts to revive the 58-year-old man were sadly unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hide Ad“The circumstances of his death are currently being treated as unexplained.
“The coroner has been informed.”
Yesterday the force arrested a 31-year-old woman. She has since been bailed until September 30 on suspicion of possessing cocaine, a class A drug, with intent to supply.
