UPDATE: Woman seriously injured after three car crash
Emergency services were called to the incident in Balcombe Road, Worth, at 5.30pm yesterday evening (January 20).
A fire service spokesman said crews spent more than an hour at the scene and released five people from the cars using hydraulic rescue equipment.

Hide AdFive ambulances and three paramedic cars attended along with member of the Air Ambulance.
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said a woman, in her 20s, was trapped in one of the vehicles for more than 45 minutes.
She suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex Hospital in Brighton for further treatment.
The spokesman added three others were also taken to hospital.
A woman in her 50s suffered back and shoulder injuries.

Hide AdAnother woman in her 70s suffered a chest injury and a woman in her 20s also suffered a back injury.
All three were full conscious when crews arrived and were taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill. Their injuries are not believed to be as severe.
Air Ambulance crews accompanied paramedic who took all four patients to their respective hospitals by road.
The SECAmb spokesman said paramedics also treated others at the scene for minor injuries.

Hide AdPolice closed the road, close to the junction with the B2110 Paddockhurst Road, and a diversion was put in place.
It was re-opened at 9pm.
