VIDEO: Princess officially opens new St Barnabas House Hospice in Goring
PRINCESS Alexandra officially opened the landmark £13.5 million St Barnabas House Hospice in glorious sunshine yesterday (Thursday, September 15).
The royal guest arrived at the hospice in Titnore Lane, Goring, at 2.30pm and was greeted by the Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex, Susan Pyper.
She was given a short tour of the new hospice by chief executive of St Barnabas, Hugh Lowson, before speaking to patients, volunteers and staff.

Hide AdPrincess Alexandra then officially declared the new St Barnabas open by unveiling a specially-designed piece of artwork on one the beams in the main reception area. She also signed the visitor’s book and was presented with a bouquet of flowers to thank her and commemorate the occasion.
