The Harness Block at the hospital, in Shoreham, is being demolished to make way for housing. The latest pictures of the work were published yesterday – click here to see a series of them, and more details on the future of the hospital site.
The pictures were taken by Eddie Mitchell, who also took this stunning video using his aerial drone, after being given permission to film. To be allowed to fly his drone legally in urban areas, Eddie had to complete an unmanned aircraft pilot course accreditted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Hide AdHe said: “There was six-months of hands-on training being taught how to fly, several months’ web-based theory, a CAA three-day course on weather and aviation law, physics of aircraft, air safety, human factors, deployment procedures, and two written tests – not multiple choice. I have a licence and insurance for £5million. I can also fly at night, which is quite rare.
“It can be a dangerous piece of equipment in the wrong hands and should not be flown in public places without having a licence and very specific aviation insurance.”
