Village animalnsanctuary hosts big events this summer
The animal sanctuary, launched by ‘Champions’ actress Alexandra Bastedo, will be opening its doors on June 8 and 9.
The open days will be an opportunity to meet the animals at the sanctuary and much more.

Hide AdVisitors can watch Shetland pony races, groom the ponies and donkeys, or win a car sponsored by Vehicle Dynamics.
There will be stalls including crafts, tombola, raffle and lots more. For children there is candy floss and face painting and a free competition.
The sanctuary’s new ‘Cost of a Coffee Club’ will also be officially launched on the day.
Co-organiser Annette Gardner said: “People don’t think twice about paying £2.50 for a coffee and so thought it would be a great idea to use this concept to ask people to donate this sum once a month via standing order.”

Hide AdIt will be held at Juggs Lane, West Chiltington, RH20 2JS,from 11am - 4pm. Free parking and free for children under 14. £4.95 entrance fee.
‘Cost of a Coffee Club’ will also be organising individual events the first of which is a quiz night to be held in Storrington Village Hall on Saturday, June 22. On Sunday, June 30, at Wiston House, Nr Steyning, actress Susan Hampshire will be interviewed by Alexandra Bastedo. Tickets are £35 each, including afternoon tea.
