Village's jubilee tree
That tree is flourishing, according to Fletching parish councillor and vice-chairman of the jubilee committee Barry Dickens, and the new tree has been given the best possible start, chosen and planted by National Trust employees at the Sheffield Park Estate.
Railings guard the oak which is on the recreation ground next to the pavilion and a commemorative stone records the golden jubilee details.
