Want to smoke in Worthing pub? Let's take your fingerprints first
The Que Pasa, in Chapel Road, is fitting the device to help control the numbers smokers' using the pergola area at the back of the building.
It works by customers touching a button on the reader, which automatically stores the fingerprint and monitors the number of people using the pergola area at any one time.

Que Pasa originally wanted to sell alcohol and food in the pergola area until the early hours, on Thursday to Saturday nights.
But it subsequently put new proposals before Worthing licensing councillors, including ending such sales at 6pm, and these were accepted.
Also approved by the licensing committee were new rear double doors to contain noise pollution, something which concerned the council and police when the original application was made.
What do you think?
Is timing smokers a step too far?
