Update: Warning over strong gustings winds across Sussex
Strong gusting winds and heavy rain tonight and tomorrow (Tuesday June 2) could cause problems across Sussex.
A Met Office ‘yellow’ wind warning has been issued by the Met Office for the county.
Winds could reach speeds of up to 70mph in some areas.
Warnings have gone out of the potential for disruption to travel, trees being uprooted and possible damage to buildings.
The yellow warning is valid until 6pm tomorrow.
Once the storm passes, though, the forecast is for a dramatic change.
From Wednesday (June 3) temperatures are set to rise and by Friday could reach at least 21degC.
