Chichester chosen to give Royal Navy their Twickenham warm-up
The match takes place at HMS Temeraire in Burnaby Road, Portsmouth, tomorrow (April 29, 7.30pm).
CRFC director of rugby Paul Colley said: “I work for the Royal Navy and through my association I was asked if Chichester could help in their final critical preparations for the big annual match versus the Army.

Hide Ad“The RN have been in a training camp for three months and will be a very tough challenge but it’s an exciting way to round off the season. I have invited a few select players to add the core squad to give a first outing of the Chichester Praetorian Guard.
“This should prove to be a high-quality game at the home of Royal Navy rugby. I hope as many supporters as possible will be able to take the shor tjourney to Burnaby Road to cheer the lads on.”
