Cornish: No easy games this year
Saxons have picked up 10 points from a possible 12 in South Hockey League Sussex Area - Division One so far with all of their wins coming by a single goal.
Cornish said: “I think this year it will be a lot closer than it has been. There’s going to be a lot of teams that will pick up points from places where they might not have done before. There’s a lot of good teams in the league and we’ve got to fight in every single game.”

“It might be too early to say how many teams have got a chance of winning the league,” added Cornish, who expects George Eldridge to return for the visit of second-bottom Horsham II tomorrow (Saturday).
Jamie Busbridge is nursing a bit of a hamstring injury and Dan Burnett turned his ankle against Lewes so Cornish plans to field a 13-man squad. Push-back is 1.30pm.
