Harding’s big century leads to another Southwater success
Despite the well-worked victory, Southwater missed out on finishing in the top-two by finishing third.
Littlehampton batted first after Southwater won the toss and set a target of 266-8 in 49 overs.

Hide AdAmit Midha was their topscorer with 65 while Michael Askew weighed in 49.
Southwater’s wickets were shared by Nick Baker, Paul Osbourne and Harding who took two each.
Harding’s huge knock of 139 was the cornerstone of his side’s reply and by hitting his big century he put them well on the way to victory.
He wasted no time before going on the attack, hitting an incredible 18 fours and eight sixes in an innings of only 77 balls.

Hide AdJohann Brouwer also struck a sweet 82 and shared in a match-winning second wicket partnership of 140 with his captain.
He was still in with Danny Humphreys (28 not out) when the winning runs were hit as Southwater clinched their win for the loss of just three wickets in 35.3 overs.

West Chiltington finished fourth in Division 1 after clinching a five-run victory against Felbridge.
Opening batsman James Howgate made 79 and shared a healthy opening stand with Tom Chambers (47).
James Chaloner added 30 as Chilts amassed 211-8.

Broadbridge Heath 161
Horsham Trinity 165-9
Horsham Trinity finished third in Division 2 following their narrow one-wicket win in their final game of the season against local rivals Broadbridge Heath.
Louie Donnelly was outstanding for Trinity with both ball and bat, taking 4-56 and then was then topscorer with 44.
Heath were dismissed for 161 with Jordan Ruff leading the way with 50.

Hide AdThe total was restricted due to Trinity’s Matt Miles taking 5-42.
Trinity got off to a great start in their reply as Donnelly combined with Luke Berriman to put on an opening stand of 55.
Fred Bridges took 5-50 for Heath but even he could not stop Trinity reaching their target.

Barns Green were relegated following their nine-wicket defeat to the new champions.
