Hide AdHatchett said of his new deal at Sussex, “I’m really happy to sign for another two years. If I can keep improving like I did last year, and now that I am fully fit, then I know I can make an impact in the first team across all three formats.
“I was really happy to have performed roles like death bowling in one-day cricket and I felt I also improved in four-day cricket. If I have another good winter and work hard then I won’t be far from where I want to be.”
Sussex’s Professional Cricket Manager Mark Robinson said, “Lewis had a breakthrough season last year, playing in all competitions and is in a great place to really kick on now. We’re looking forward to seeing him progress over the next two years.”
