Albion’s Polish keeper also denied a whipped Joey Barton free kick in the second half, tipping it away from the top corner.
Oscar Garcia handed Ashley Barnes the role of spearheading his side but chances were few and far between for the Seasiders and it was Keith Andrews who came the closest. His fizzed effort from distance clipped an opponent and flashed just wide of the post.
Rohan Ince closed the game with a header that ballooned into the raucous travelling support homed in the top tier of Loftus Road’s School End.
