Adam Lallana reveals real reason why he chose Brighton ahead of other offers
Lallana, 32, was out-of-contract at Liverpool and arrived on a free-transfer having agreed a three-year deal with the club.
The former Southampton man had six successful years at Anfield and won the Premier League, the Champions League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.

But the safety of a three-year contract for a 32-year-old and the chance to join a progressive club in the Premier League appealed to Lallana.
Graham Potter guided Brighton to their fourth consecutive season in the top flight. The manager wants to play attractive football and is also keen to promote young talent in the first team squad.
Lallana's experience will hopefully help that process.
“The whole infrastructure and ambition around the club excites me," said the England international. "There is so much young talent and so much ability.

“I cant wait to get started,” he said. “It’s a breath of fresh air coming here – having my medical, everything is new. It’s a challenge I am looking forward to.
“I look how ambitious the chairman is to start with and how highly the manager is regarded since he has come into the club,” Lallana added.
“He has changed the dynamics and the staff and to do that whilst keeping the team in the division shows he has done a fantastic job.

"I have got a lot of experience playing in the Premier League and at a high level – I know what’s required and how we can improve.
"If I can help just a little bit in that journey to improve Brighton as a whole, and as a squad, then I will be very happy.”
“I looked at all those aspects, the squad, the training ground facilities, the stadium and it was a perfect fit really. I am really excited to get stuck into the challenge and hopefully we can push on again next season."
