Brighton are five points above the Premier League drop zone following last Wednesday's frustrating 0-0 draw against fellow strugglers Fulham.
Once again, they played some decent football but converting chances has been a huge source of frustration this season.
High on the wish list of many Albion fans is a new striker to provide that all-important edge.
Brighton are expected to complete the signing of Ecuador midfielder Moises Caicedo, while Polish duo Jakub Moder and Michał Karbownik were recalled from loan earlier this month.

1. Todd Cantwell
The talented Norwich playermaker would be a welcome addition to many Premier League squads. Surprised he didn't get his move away from Norwich last season and a player often discussed by Brighton fans on social media. He would come with a hefty price tag which could ultimately put Brighton off any move. Also linked with Spurs, Everton and Leicester.
2. Moises Caicedo
Brighton fans eagerly await confirmation on this one. Albion have agreed a 4.5 million deal with Independiente and nipped ahead of Man United, West Ham and Chelsea for the Ecuador international. Social media showed footage of him boarding the plane for Brighton but so far no official announcement
3. Josh King
The Bournemouth striker has proven to be a regular scorer in the Premier League. Brighton fans feel he could add the finishing touch to Albion's approach play. The 28-year-old Norwegian is also wanted by West Ham and West Brom
4. Rico Henry
Calls for a new left back at Brighton reached fever pitch after Albion's 3-3 draw against Wolves. Dan Burn has filled in admirably but Brentford's Rico Henry was linked with Albion last summer and is rarely far from the conversation. Bernardo was allowed to leave on loan earlier this month and Poland left back Michal Karbownik was recalled.
