The pre-match build-up was dominated by the latest news surrounding the European Super League proposals but Albion stayed professional and earned a creditable point.

1. Robert Sanchez -7
Was busy in the first half but barely had a save to make in the second. Fine stop to deny Kai Havertz on 20th minute. Forced into a few customary saves and was quick off his line when it mattered. Photo: AFP
2. Joel Veltman - 7
The return of Adam Webster meant Joel Veltman was playing in his favoured position at right wing-back. Good performance from the Dutchman who made a number of important tackles and looked to cause problems going forward Photo: Getty Images Europe
3. Adam Webster - 7
Part of a defence which was sloppy in possession early on. Webster was twice the culprit, first giving Pulisic a good chance in front of goal before he almost gifted Havertz the opener. Recovered well on his first game back from injury Photo: Getty Images Europe
4. Ben White - 8
Made an important tackle to stop Ziyech as he got in behind the defence shortly after half-time. Did well again just moments later to stop Pulisic in his tracks as he looked to detined to take a shot. A solid performance, which had earned him Sky Sports' man of the match, was marred when he was sent off for two yellow cards in injury-time. He'll now miss the clash against Sheffield United
