A first half brace from James Maddison and an a clever finish from Jamie Vardy was more than enough for Brendan Rodgers' impressive team.
Albion had their chances and Danny Welbeck missed a golden opportunity when the scores were locked at 0-0.
But after that, all of the attacking threat came from Leicester and Brighton really struggled to be competitive.
Leicester moved to third in the table while Brighton are 16th and are in the thick of a developing relegation struggle.
Scroll down and click through to see who struggled and who shone at the King Power.
1. Maty Ryan 5/10
Beat the turf in frustration after conceding the first. Should have done better. Produced a fantastic low stop to deny Perez but could do nothing with the Vardy and Maddison strikes. Confidence looks low
2. Ben White 6/10
Two great blocks early on to deny Vardy clear efforts on goal. A decent individual performance but was part of defensive line-up that really struggled to cope
3. Lewis Dunk 5/10
Had a very tough evening up against Vardy. Brighton's much changed defence never looked comfortable
4. Dan Burn 5/10
Much of Leicester's attacking play came down Burn's side on the left.
