Premier League transfer window net spend: The staggering amount Brighton, Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Fulham spent after deadline day

There have been some huge moves this summer window with Darwin Nunez’s £70m to Liverpool, Casemiro’s £65m switch to Manchester United and Man City’s £50m swoop for Erling Haaland all catching the eye.

Brighton also played their part with Marc Cucurella moving to Chelsea for a club record fee of £60m, Yves Bissouma to Tottenham for £30m and Neal Maupay to Everton for £15m.

Incomings on the south coast were fairly tame in comparison as they brought in Billy Gilmour for £9m on deadline day to go with the £8.5m arrival of Paraguay teenager Julio Enciso, Ecuador left back Pervis Estupiñan was the most expensive at £15m and Simon Adingra joined for £7m.

Brighton also added Chelsea’s talented young defender Levi Colwill on loan.

The standout movers on deadline day were Antony from Ajax to Man United for £82m, Leicester bringing in defender Wout Faes for £15m as a Wesley Fofana replacement, Man City signed Manuel Akanji from Borussia Dortmund on a five-year deal and Liverpool went for midfielder Arthur Melo on loan from Juventus.
