“Ben Presslie hit the bar and a post but I was pleased we managed to progress.
“In the next round we meet either Billingshurst or Selsey, so it gives us an opportunity to potentially progress further.”
Cook headed home his first-ever senior goal after meeting a corner eight minutes in.

Hide AdWickers continued to apply pressure with Presslie seeing an effort come back of a post, while Andy McDowell saw an effort ruled out for an earlier infringement inside the opening half-hour.
Presslie was once again denied by the woodwork, this time striking the bar on the hour, before Piner wrapped it up with a header a minute from time.
Wickers return to league action on Saturday when they host Billingshurst (3pm).
