Dunford '˜not worried' by delay in takeover
Sale contracts for Crawley Town have been exchanged with prospective new owner Ziya Eren, the club confirmed yesterday (Tuesday).
A club statement said: “The club can confirm that its solicitors have today exchanged contracts on the sale of Crawley Town FC with the solicitors acting for Turkish investor Mr. Ziya Eren.”

Hide AdDunford said: “The Football League have got two or three clubs being sold at the moment. I am not worried and I don’t imagine any problems.
“(The club’s benefactor) Paul Hayward is paying the players’ wages out of his own pocket, and there is no big issue with that one.”
But the sale has moved a step closer now that contracts have been swopped.
