Hales heads back to Borough
Andy Hales, whose 30-yard screamer earned Westfield a 2-2 draw at home to Little Common, is heading back to parent club Eastbourne Borough.
Westfield joint manager Tony Harris said: “He’s done well for us. His attitude’s been first class and he’s scored a few important goals. But he wants to have a crack at Eastbourne Borough and good luck to him.”

Hide AdHarris revealed last week that an agreement was in place for the diminutive but tricky midfielder to spend 4-6 weeks with Westfield in order to get some game time.
Hales, pictured, will return to Borough’s reserve team set-up having scored five goals in Westfield’s last seven matches, including two in added time to clinch a 4-4 draw away to Oakwood on December 20.
He has helped Westfield sit four points and two places above the Sussex County Football League Division Two relegation zone ahead of the trip to Rustington today (Saturday).
