Hollie learns a lot trio of England football appearances

Olding, who is attached to Brighton’s centre of excellence, had a great tournament.
England lost all three games but learned much from each one.

Hide AdOlding played for England as a centre-back, yet normally appears in midfield – and that in itself meant she learned plenty about a different role in the team.
She played the entire game in a penalty-shootout defeat to Switzerland, came on as sub in a 1-0 loss to Sweden and again played the whole game against France, as England lost 2-0.
Olding, who attends Chichester High School for Girls, used to play for Bognor Town’s young teams before progessing to Pompey’s community set-up and then to Brighton.
