The Seagulls crashed to a 5-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth on Saturday and now host Cardiff in a huge relegation clash at the Amex tonight. Asked about making changes for the game, Hughton said: "With the competition in the squad, I don't think anybody could feel hard done by (about being left out) but it's about making sure I get the right balance. "We're on the back of a really poor performance by the whole team. It's not the first time it will have happened and it won't be the last time. "I've got to get the right balance between making changes and picking - as you always have to do by taking the emotion out of the game - what you think is the best team to win the next game." Albion have lost four of their last six home games in the Premier League and Hughton hopes the Seagulls will enjoy better results in their remaining three matches at the Amex. He said: "We have now got three games at home. As with every game, every one is an opportunity to win and get maximum points. "We know there are better opportunities to get them at home. "We've had great support at home and it's vitally important for us we get our crowd behind us." HAVE YOU READ?
