Tonight’s games postponed
Hastings’ trip to Whitstable Town in Ryman Football League Division One South and Rye’s visit to Sussex County Football League Division One leaders East Preston have succumbed to waterlogged pitches.
It means that Hastings have completed just two league games since Saturday December 7 and still haven’t reached the midway point in their league programme.

Hide AdNo team in Sussex Division One has played fewer matches than a Rye side which hasn’t been in action since the 2-0 victory at home to high-riding Littlehampton Town on Saturday December 14.
The weather forecast promises drier weather for later in the week, though, so both clubs will be optimistic of playing again on Saturday when Hastings host Peacehaven & Telscombe and Rye entertain St Francis Rangers.
