Hide AdFootGolf is now played in nearly 30 countries around the world, with the first tournaments played in 2009, having been introduced
to the UK in 2012.
The sport is played on a traditional golf course and is proving to be a very addictive sport that combines the best of popular sports like
football with an elite sport like golf. The idea is to combine power and precision to achieve the goal of getting the ball to the hole in fewest number of shots.
The UK’s first footgolf tournament was held at Sewerby Hall and Gardens near Bridlington in 2012.
