Westfield lose on 3G...again
After being bought back down to earth last Saturday by Rustington, this was a chance for the Westies to bounce back. However the first twenty minutes were the worst of the season so far as Lindfield put on a finishing masterclass and flew into a four goal lead. Poor defending from set pieces and two great finishes meant the game seemed to be over before half time.
After the fourth goal went in, Westfield finally began to play. Martyn Durrant and Lee Paine both went close. Westfield did subsequently pull a goal back. Lee Paine bought a foul out of the centre half, but the referee played a brilliant advantage and George King smashed home.

A great ball inside from Hugo Corbin, King beat a player and curled a lovely shot into the top corner from 25 yards.
