Hailsham men bounce back with win against Mid Sussex
Despite Hailsham starting brightly, with good link-up play between forwards Lee Humber and Alex Smith, the visitors opened the scoring from a penalty corner routine awarded against run of play. Hailsham’s response was immediate from the restart, with Tristan Pengilley rifling a pass to Sam Headey in the Middies D.
Headey quickly spun with the ball and flicked it into the path of Lloyd Williams who made no mistake from close range and drew the game level for half time.

The hosts grabbed the winner ten minutes from time, after a well-placed pass from Smith found Headey unmarked in the D, the forward sliding the ball under the keeper to mark a good win for Hailsham.
