Jimmy thrashed by in-form Joyce
The Bexhill cueman was whitewashed 5-0 by the in-form Mark Joyce in the penultimate round of the World Open Qualifiers at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield.
Joyce made a half-century break in every frame, while Robertson, who runs O’Sullivans Snooker Club with his family, managed just 78 points in the entire match.

Hide AdRobertson, at a career high 48 in the latest world rankings, lost the first frame 22-74 after Joyce finished it with a break of 57. An 80 gave 52nd-ranked Joyce the second 102-8.
Joyce, who knocked then world number one Judd Trump out of the UK Championship at the start of the month, went 3-0 up as a run of 68 gave him the next 69-0.
Although Robertson began the fourth with a 30 - his highest break of the match - Joyce came back to take it 82-34 aided by a 54 and a 57 helped clinch the next 73-14.
Next up for Robertson, 26, is a meeting with Dave Harold in the last 32 of European Tour event six - the Munich Open - on Friday January 4.
St Leonards-based Mark Davis, meanwhile, automatically qualifies for the World Open by virtue of his place in the top 16 of the world rankings.
