"He's very tricky. He'll be like a litte Jukebox (Andy Drury).
King revealed he was considering signing Cox simply on loan - until he saw him in training - then decided to sign him on a permanent contract.
"He's got great potential," added the Rooks boss. "I didn't want him to go anywhere else."

Hide AdCox will go straight into the Lewes squad for the Hampton game on Saturday, along with Jean-Michel Sigere, who has been out all season with a serious knee injury.
King has also signed 31-year-old ex-QPR striker Hamid Barr, who left Tonbridge Angels by 'mutual consent'.
Barr scored 14 goals in 18 starts for Ryman premier division strugglers Tonbridge this season.
King said, "I've known him a long time and I've seen his history.
"He was at Fisher when they were winning all the leagues.
