Retailer to support road safety
The aim of the test is to promote safety on the road by
recognising those riders who ride with courtesy and responsibility, and who obey the law, the Highway Code and The Pony Club or British Horse Society Riding and Roadcraft Manual. The test itself involves theory; tack and turnout inspection; a simulated road test and then a test on a public highway.
Chief Executive of The Pony Club, Judy Edwards, is looking forward to a fruitful partnership with Derby House: She said: "Riding and Road Safety is a fundamental skill for all Pony Club members, and ensures that we produce generations of responsible and safe riders. We are grateful to Derby House for the support they are providing and this support enables us to continue to grow our invaluable training programme."
