Snooker ace begins tour bid
Playing in the first of the campaign's four Challenge Tour events, the O'Sullivan's and Q-Ball (Eastbourne) based professional reached the quarter-finals where he was thumped 5-1 by James Tatton from Bicester in Oxfordshire.
Robertson, 18, actually won the opening frame but "just didn't play well at all" after that according to father Brian as Tatton rattled off five frames on the trot with the help of a highest break of 82.

"It was better than we anticipated," Brian continued. "He hasn't had a run like that for a long time so we're pretty pleased and it's given him a good start to the season. But we've got to do this for another four times so we don't want to get too carried away."
Robertson lies in sixth place after the first event - a position he needs to maintain if he is to gain promotion to the prestigious LG Electronics tour.
