Thunder make new signing
The 21-year-old has recently moved to the area after completing his university degree in Worcester, where he played for Worcester Wolves’ second team in EBL Division 3. He also played for the successful BUCS university team, and was a regular practice player with the BBL side.

Thunder coach Daniel Hildreth said: “I am delighted to finally have Brendan on board. He fits everything I am trying to do with the development of the team. As another young player, he has time to develop his game and prove himself at this level.”
Saturday’s EBL Division 1 game with Tees Valley tips-off at 7.30pm. Thunder then travel to unbeaten leaders Reading Rockets on Sunday (4pm).
