Following the government’s latest guidance, West Dean Gardens will remain open to the public during the lockdown.

The gardens are open seven days a week with their winter opening hours from 10.30am to 4pm and entry continues to be by timed tickets available to book online. Pre-booking is essential. The gardens’ shop and restaurant will be closed.

Alexander Barron, chief executive, West Dean College of Arts and Conservation, said: “Not only can visitors enjoy the wonderful gardens, they can also escape with a walk through the stunning autumnal parkland – which gives great creative inspiration to artists and photographers alike.
