Frankie Bridge joins line up of fundraising cookalongs for families
By this point the focus is mainly on keeping everyone happy and what better way to do that than whipping up a storm in the kitchen. Cookalong 4 Families is just the thing to get the family cooking together and then eating together.
What’s more, Danone will give £1* to charity partner Family Action, which supports vulnerable families, for every video view.

Hide AdIn a series of live videos featuring friends of Danone such as bestselling author and one-fifth of UK girl band The Saturday’s Frankie Bridge, kids will have fun learning to cook simple recipes using everyday ingredients including Danone’s new range of no added sugar** yogurts developed with families for families. Perhaps more importantly though parents will get a helping hand in answering the eternal “what’s for dinner?” question at least one night a week.
Frankie said: “We’ve been up to all sorts of fun with the boys over the last few months. From blue hair to homemade sand and water slides – but I really can’t wait to have some fun in the kitchen and share some easy, healthy, home cooking with other families in need of a bit of lockdown inspo!”
Keeping family firmly at the heart of the idea, Danone has partnered with charity Family Action who transform lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are either experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation across the UK.
David Holmes CBE, chief executive from Family Action added; “We are delighted to be working with Danone on such a fun idea.

This will go toward supporting vulnerable and low-income families during lock-down, the school holidays and beyond by providing free nutritious meals along with opportunities for family bonding. We can’t wait to see what is created!”
The first YouTube livestream was hosted by Madeleine Shaw on Wednesday, June 10 at 4pm. Another four live episodes will follow every Wednesday at 4pm featuring Frankie Bridge (June 24), Fiona Connor (July 8), Hannah Michalak (July 1) and Laura Jackson (June 17).
