Bumper grant for voluntary group
The money will go towards the cost of two volunteers attending training courses in May and September.
It comes from the Committee’s Community Initiative Funding, which is cash it receives from West Sussex County Council to support local organisations that enhance their communities.

Hide AdRobert Dunn, Committee Chairman, said: “Home-Start volunteers play a valuable role in the community. They offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families who may be struggling to cope with a variety of challenges, including post-natal depression, disability, isolation, the demands of parenting young children and multiple births.
“Supporting families through these difficulties can prevent them from escalating into crises, and crises from developing into family breakdown.”
