Community pitches in for football club clean-up day
Around 25 people worked hard on Saturday to help spruce up the Woodside Road site in time for the new Ryman League South campaign.
Rebels supporters, staff, directors and members of the local business community spent hours gardening, scrubbing, cleaning, litter- picking and painting under the direction of Paul Kelleway, who organised the day.

“Also, thanks to all the local businesses that donated much needed time and equipment.
“Couldn’t have done it without you.
“There are lots of positive things happening at the club, with many people working hard behind the scenes to help achieve great things on the pitch”.
Graham Wright added: “This means everything to the club because we run with people helping us out and we are always looking for more to get involved.
“Saturday was just the start and we would like to do a second clean-up day but this is all about preparing Worthing’s biggest football club for the season.”
