Crowds of people have attended the opening of a new Aldi store in Eastbourne in hopes of winning a number of prizes this morning (April 28).
To draw attention to its new Lottbridge Drove store, the supermarket promised to give away prizes including televisions, tablet PCs and free bags of shopping to its first hundred customers.
The store officially opened at 8am but shoppers began queuing several hours earlier with a queue stretching across the supermarket carpark.
